New Tool: Debt-to-Income Ratio Calculator

Undebt.it has a new section as of today. It’s called “Tools” and it’s located off of the “More Info” menu. The first tool that I have put together is a online debt-to-income (DTI) ratio calculator. There are plenty of online calculators out there, but one of the  things that makes this one unique is that it provides your basic DTI (total minimum payments / monthly gross income) as well as your “front-end” and “back-end” DTI’s. These other two factor in your housing costs as well.

The calculator only needs a few pieces of information to get you your DTI ratio. Note that none of the housing or income costs are stored in any way. Another cool feature is that if you are logged into your account, the four expense fields at the bottom will be auto-populated.
