Undebt.it is a web app, and since September 2026 it can install like a native one. There is nothing to download from an app store: your phone's browser does the install, and the result is an icon on your home screen that opens the site, logged in and full screen with no address bar, just like a regular app.
Android
- Open Undebt.it in Chrome and log in.
- Tap the three dot menu in the top right.
- Tap Install app. On some phones the wording is Add to Home screen.
- Confirm. The Undebt.it icon appears with your other apps.
Chrome may also show an install banner on its own after a couple of visits; tapping it does the same thing.
iPhone and iPad
- Open Undebt.it in Safari. It has to be Safari; Chrome and other browsers on iOS cannot add web apps to the home screen.
- Tap the Share button (the square with the arrow).
- Scroll the list and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
What you get
- Full screen. No browser bars, just the app.
- Stays signed in. Logging in inside the installed app keeps you signed in on that device until you log out.
- Notifications. Undebt.it+ members can turn on payment reminders under My Account and get them as phone notifications. On iPhone this works inside the installed app on iOS 16.4 or newer, after you allow notifications.
- Badge. On iPhone, iPad and desktop Chrome or Edge, the icon shows how many accounts are due within the next week. Android phones do not support that number, so the icon there is plain.
- Offline notice. With no connection you get a simple page saying so rather than a browser error. Your plan itself always comes from the server, so the app needs a connection to show it.
Desktop
Chrome and Edge on Windows and Mac offer the same install from the icon at the right end of the address bar. Handy if you keep the site open all day.
Removing it
Uninstall the same way as any app: long press the icon and remove it. Your account and data are unaffected; the icon was only a shortcut with a nicer frame.
If you are looking for the app store version, there is not one yet. The installed web app is what most members use on a phone today, and it gets every site update the moment it is live.
